I haven’t gotten my estimate yet. What should I do?
First, could you check your spam folder for anything from BCM London? Then, contact info@bcmlondon.com.
Who manages your projects?
Salar will be the project manager you will be working with.
Do we have to sign a contract before we start the project?
Yes! Both parties will agree on all of the terms before starting the project.
Do we need to pick up and deliver the materials to the house?
We are always happy to help deliver all the material to your house. Depending on the size and the scope of the material being delivered to your house, there will be a small fee associated with the delivery.
How long does it take to get the estimate back?
You will receive your estimate within five business days, but general estimates are completed within 2-3 days.
Can I start my project whenever I want?
There is an average 8-12 week lead time to start the new projects. For more information about project start dates, please contact us at (404) 510-2878.
What are the terms of payment?
We are flexible on the terms of payment. Usually, a small deposit of 5% to 10% is required when signing the contract. The rest of the payments will be divided throughout the lift of the project, with 5% to 10% due at the end of the project after all of the punch list items have been taken care of.
How do you protect the house during the construction?
Absolutely! The entire construction path will be covered for the duration of the work.
Do we have to work with your trusted vendors, or can we choose a vendor for the materials?
We have a list of our trusted vendors that we will share with you. You're welcome to work with them, but you won't have to.
What if the project goes over the agreed timeframe?
It happens more often than not, not because of a lack of effort but due to the complexity and unforeseen things that come up during a renovation project. All delays will be communicated to the homeowner as the project goes on.
What if we change our minds on some of the items agreed on at the beginning of the project?
Almost always, things change during the project. We are flexible and will do our best to accommodate our clients' wants and needs. Anything that is added to the original scope of our work will be treated as a change order and will need to be approved by the homeowner before finalizing the change order.
Do you do other work outside the bathrooms, kitchens, and basements?
We don't. Those are the three main types of projects that we take on. We can handle any interior renovation work as long as it is attached to a major bathroom, kitchen, and basement project.
Can you help us select all of the material?
Yes, we will help you with all of your selections. We will make suggestions and recommendations, but you will be able to finalize all the finishing materials. We have a great color consultant whom we work with. She will help you with your final selections, such as the paint colors and flooring (tiles, LVP, carpet, hardwood, engineered wood, and laminated flooring).
Can you be here for an estimate this week?
Typically, we are booking estimates 1 to 4 weeks out. Please book an appointment at (404) 510-2878.
How long will it take to finish my project?
Please look at the timeline tab on our website to get a detailed timeline of the project you are interested in.
Do we need to pull a building permit?
For the most part, the answer is yes. The answer is always a yes if we are going to do any structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work.
Does your quote include all of the material?
We usually build an allowance for most of the materials needed to finish the project. We leave a few finishing items out of our work that the homeowner must purchase and provide, such as light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, finishing hardware, etc.
Are the tradesmen your employees or sub-contractor?
We work with sub-contractors. Our sub-contractors are trusted and have worked together for many years. Each trade will have its sub-contractor.
Would you travel further than your service areas?
No, but we have on rare circumstances.
How do we communicate during the project?
Salar will be the main point of contact and your project manager for the project's duration.
Do we need a dumpster?
Almost always, yes.
How do we call in the inspections?
We will handle all of the permitting and inspection work and provide you with a certificate of completion/certificate of occupancy at the end of the project.
Do you provide a warranty for your work?
Yes, we provide a one-year warranty on our work. But we build great relationships with all our clients and are always there for them.
Will you clean the house after the project is completed?
Of course! We will do a deep professional cleaning of the house and renovated areas after the completion of the project.
Do we need a porta-potty?
Not usually.
Do you offer design services?
We don’t, but we work with a great designer that is our trusted partner and helps most of our clients with their design needs. She is an independent designer whom you will be working with directly.
